Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago/Hoffman Estates

Yes, this is a Hilton own property, and trust me, not every Hilton own location is not worthy of that name. This establishment is. From the moment I checked in, it was professional and pleasant. This price was $50 bucks LESS than the surrounding hotels. Really appreciate the large washroom cause my partner uses a walker. Beautiful shower unit done, right. Just done right.

We had a great stay at this Hampton Inn!! Alyssa at the front desk was fabulous- I had called in to ask about the pet policy and she gave me the info I needed plus some tips! She was absolutely stellar, the room was super quiet, (despite i90 being literally a stones throw away), the beds were comfortable, good shower, and everything was super clean. It’s so hard to find a dog friendly space that isn’t a dump, or didn’t have a weight restriction on pets (we have 2 larger dogs). This was such a great experience!

I called multiple times to block out 10 - 15 rooms and was told the sales team comes at 3pm then I called after 3pm I was told the sales team leaves at 3pm. I’ve called 4 times left voice mail. Finally made final call and 2:30pm and was told to call back at 3pm.. I asked if they can call me and they said no if you want a room you should call is. A potential paying customer should not be begging for a hotel room. I would never book here.

Can be a GREAT hotel! The pool is decent and stays open late. The workout facility is nice and stays open 24 hours. The rooms are OK. For the price, I expected the entire room to be more pristine (the bathroom floor and shower floor to be cleaned). The floor lamp is propped up on the wall. The fabric on the chair at the desk has stains on it. Some of the staff is not attentive and lacks follow thru. We called down to the front desk, and no one answered. So, we went back down there, and the worker was sitting at the front desk with her earbuds in her ears and playing on her phone. Another instance, when we first went into our room, there was an empty plastic comforter bag sitting on one of the beds. We informed the front desk staff and left. We were informed that someone would go to the room and retrieve it. Well, when we returned, the bag was where we left it. Last but not least, the TV kept going out. The screen read, no signal.... this happened 3 of our 4 nights sporadically. The husband called the front desk, and the person said they didn't know why... It would be great to have designated rooms, away from the key amenities, for people who bring their pets. There are people who have allergies and phobias. EVERYONE can be accommodated. My sentiment is if you're going to charge premium prices, offer a premium product and services.

This is a great Hampton. Finishing a week's stay. Front desk staff very helpful, friendly and professional. Breakfast always fully stocked with great selection. They even open early most mornings. Rooms were clean and bed comfortable. Wonderful value, too. Close to clean, open green space for walking. A short Uber ride ($11-14) to Metra train for one hour access to downtown Chicago. I'd recommend it.
